1. Who we are
ridgeby.com ("Ridgeby," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by Little Red Apple Productions LLC, a Virginia limited liability company doing business as Ridgeby, with a business address at 529 Jefferson Ave N, Pulaski, VA 24301. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information about you when you use our website, forms, chat widget, and phone number.
2. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to information collected through ridgeby.com and any subdomains, including the lead form, chat widget, tracking phone number, and any pages served under the Ridgeby brand. It also applies to information we collect when you email us or exchange text messages with us in response to a form or chat you started.
It does not apply to information collected on other websites we link to, or to any information you provide directly to a third-party service (for example, a booking calendar hosted by another provider). Those services have their own privacy policies.
3. What we collect
We collect three kinds of information: information you give us, information collected automatically when you use the Site, and information from other sources.
Information you give us
When you submit the lead form on our home page, we collect:
- Your name
- Your business name
- Your cell phone number
- Your primary service city
- The number of crews you run (a rough range you select)
- Your current monthly marketing spend (a rough range you select)
If you email us, start a chat, or send us a text, we also collect the content of that message, your email address (if applicable), your phone number, and any other information you choose to share.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our providers automatically collect:
- Device and browser information (browser type, operating system, screen size, language)
- Your general location (derived from your IP address — typically city or region, not precise location)
- The pages you visit on the Site, how long you spend on them, and how you interact with them (scrolls, clicks, form-field focus)
- The page or ad that brought you to the Site, including UTM parameters,
gclid(Google Ads), andfbclid(Facebook) - The date and time of your visit
Information from other sources
If you find us through an advertising platform (for example, Google Ads or Facebook), that platform may share information with us about the ad you clicked so we can measure campaign performance.
4. How we use it
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your form submission, chat, text, or call
- Schedule and prepare for the 15-minute intake call you requested
- Send you follow-up SMS and email that is directly responsive to your request
- Understand how visitors use the Site so we can make it faster, clearer, and more useful
- Measure the performance of our ads and marketing so we know which channels are actually generating good conversations
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and spam submissions to our forms
- Keep records required by applicable law and for our own internal accounting
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes.
5. Who we share it with
We share information only in these limited situations:
- Service providers who help us operate the Site and communicate with you. These providers act on our instructions and are contractually restricted from using your information for their own purposes. Categories include:
| Provider category | What they do for us | What they receive |
|---|---|---|
| Hosting and edge network | Serves the Site and protects it from abuse (Railway; Cloudflare) | IP address, browser info, pages requested |
| CRM and lead-communication platform | Receives form submissions, handles SMS and calls to the tracking number, powers the chat widget on the Site | Everything you submit on the form; SMS message content; call metadata and (where enabled) call recordings; chat transcripts; IP and device information from the widget |
| Analytics | Measures Site usage and ad performance (Google Analytics 4, if enabled) | Device and browser info, general location, pages viewed, referral source, aggregated interactions |
| Booking calendar | Lets you book a call time (Cal.com) | Name, email, and any details you enter when booking |
| Sends and receives email from us (Google Workspace) | Email content and metadata |
- Legal requirements. We may share information if we are required to by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- Business transfers. If Little Red Apple Productions LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
6. Cookies and tracking
We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies (like localStorage and pixel tags) for the following purposes:
- Essential. To make the Site work — for example, remembering the state of the chat widget and preventing form abuse.
- Analytics. To count visits and understand how the Site is used, in aggregate.
- Attribution. To measure which ads and channels are generating leads. We may use cookies from advertising platforms (like Google or Facebook) for this purpose.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may cause parts of the Site — like the chat widget — to stop working. We do not currently use cookies to serve you targeted advertising on other websites.
7. Calls, SMS, and recordings
The Site displays a phone number that routes through our CRM sub-account. Calls to that number may be recorded for quality assurance, training, staff review, and record-keeping. If you do not want your call recorded, please tell us at the start of the call or contact us by another method.
If you provide your phone number on the form, in the chat widget, or by text, you consent to receive SMS text messages and phone calls from Ridgeby in response to your inquiry. This may include automated SMS. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. You can opt out of further SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message we send you, or by emailing us at the address below.
8. How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as we reasonably need it to serve the purposes described in this policy, and for at least as long as required by law. In practice:
- Lead form submissions and related SMS, email, and call records are kept for the duration of our conversations with you and for a reasonable period after, so we can respond to follow-up questions, honor guarantees, and keep accurate records.
- Analytics data is typically kept in aggregated form for up to 26 months, in line with default analytics-provider settings.
- When we no longer have a business or legal reason to keep specific information, we delete it or anonymize it.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner — see "Your rights" below.
9. How we protect it
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we collect, including encryption of data in transit (all pages served over HTTPS), access controls on our CRM and email systems, and vendor selection that emphasizes providers with established security programs. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights
Regardless of where you live, you can always:
- Ask us what personal information we have about you
- Ask us to correct information that's wrong
- Ask us to delete your information
- Opt out of SMS by replying STOP
- Opt out of email marketing by replying "unsubscribe" or asking us to remove you
To make a request, email us using the contact information at the bottom of this page. We will respond within a reasonable time, and, where required by law, within the statutory response window. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
11. Virginia residents (VCDPA)
If you are a resident of Virginia, the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act ("VCDPA") gives you the right to:
- Confirm whether we process your personal data and access that data
- Correct inaccuracies in your personal data
- Delete personal data we hold about you
- Obtain a copy of your personal data in a portable, readily usable format
- Opt out of the processing of your personal data for targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects
We do not sell personal data and we do not engage in targeted advertising or profiling with legal or similarly significant effects as those terms are defined by the VCDPA.
To exercise a VCDPA right, email [email protected]. We will respond within 45 days. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response with the word "appeal" and a brief explanation. We will respond to your appeal within 60 days. If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your appeal, you may contact the Virginia Office of the Attorney General.
12. California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and (if applicable) sell or share about you
- Access a copy of the specific personal information we've collected about you
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to certain exceptions
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information
- Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA.
Categories of personal information we collect (using the CCPA categories):
- Identifiers (name, phone number, email if provided, IP address)
- Commercial information (the number of crews you run, monthly marketing spend range — collected only if you submit the form)
- Internet or other electronic network activity (pages viewed, referral source, interactions with forms and buttons)
- Geolocation data (approximate city/region derived from IP)
- Audio information (recordings of calls to our tracking number, where enabled)
- Inferences drawn from the above (for example, whether a submission looks like a serious lead)
To exercise a right, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, subject to our verification of the agent's authority.
13. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child under 18 has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
14. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no consistent industry standard for how to respond to this signal, and we currently do not respond to it. We describe how you can control tracking under "Cookies and tracking" and "Your rights."
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and, for material changes, we will post a notice on the Site's home page for a reasonable period. Your continued use of the Site after the updated policy takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
